Please join us as we CELEBRATE JACK! Jack Elton Snyder would have been 20 years old on October 28th. We know that Jack would not want us to be sad, but would want us to celebrate! This will be our first event where we are the sole beneficiary and all proceeds will be used to support scholarship programs to the Golf Room of Dublin, GolfWeek Junior Tour and the American Junior Golf Association.

2023 Memorial Junior

We are thrilled to be named the beneficiary of this AMAZING Junior Golf Event!

Columbus, Ohio – The American Junior Golf Association is proud to announce the return of the Memorial Junior in 2023. The four-day event will be hosted at Hickory Hills Golf Club for the second time in tournament history.

The open event will bring together 96 male and female junior golfers from around the world to the greater Columbus area to compete in the 54-hole stroke play tournament. AJGA Open tournaments make up the largest part of the AJGA schedule. All members may submit tournament applications to Open tournaments. All AJGA Open tournaments are filled using the AJGA’s Performance Based Entry system.

2022 AGJA Memorial Junior

Our Founders, Jacci & Sean Snyder, were able to celebrate the Junior Golfers at The Ohio State University Scarlet Course today. In addition, they held a Q&A with the Junior Golfers and their families. Many stories of Jack were shared. There were lots of laughs and tears. The JES&US Foundation was honored to be the 2022 beneficiary of the Memorial Junior! Jack would be so proud of the legacy he has left for the future of golf. Mia Hammond, one of the first JES&US Scholarship recipients, won the Girls' Division and Tyler Sabo, one of Jack's best friends, won the Boys' Division. The AJGA team did an amazing job providing these Junior Golfers an experience they won't soon forget. We hope to continue this tradition and expand our reach to even more Junior Golfers in the years to come.

We are excited, proud and humbled that we were named as the beneficiary of the Memorial Junior Tournament this year! Continuing to honor Jack’s legacy by raising even more money to assist aspiring Junior Golfers!

Congratulations to Alec Barker, Happy Gilmore, Jake Pierce, Noel and Henry Peterson, Cameron Phillips and Ellie Gonzalez Ribble. Each recipient will have their tournament registration fees and travel expenses covered for 4 Golf Week Junior Tournaments this summer. We are honored to be able to support these Junior Golfers and will continue to do so with the support from all of the wonderful donations to the Foundation.

Dinner and silent auction at 5:30

Golf Includes: 18 holes of golf, cart, dinner and silent auction. Prizes will be awarded for the winners of the scramble, closest to the pin, longest drive, longest putt and hole in one.

Country Club attire is recommended. Donations are tax deductible.

SnydesFest 2022

On Thursday March 10, 2022, teammates, peers and golfers of the Golf Room of Dublin gathered to celebrate SnydesFest 2022. This celebration was a way to honor Jack with competitive team games of golf skill, strength and endurance combined with songs by Michael Jackson and a feast of pizza (all of Jack's favorites) made the day extra special! Additionally, the Jack Elton Snyder Foundation was able to award a $6,000 Golf Scholarship to Bella Joy Miller, a 12 year old from Canal Winchester. Bella has only been golfing for a year and a half but her natural swing, athleticism, competitive nature (not to mention brilliant smile) are sure to prove to be a winning combination as she continues to develop her golf game. Bella will be training with Kyle Morris at the Golf Room with in-house instruction as well as on course training . Jacci Snyder, Co-Director of the foundation, presented Bella with the GREAT NEWS! We cannot wait to see how Bella progresses as she is awarded this additional training. We know she will go far....

Sylvania Cares Fundraising Event

JES & US named beneficiary of 4th Annual Sylvania Cares Event

The Jack Elton Snyder Foundation is pleased to announce that we have been named the beneficiary of the 4th Annual Sylvania Cares, a fundraising program led by the student councils of both Northview and Southview High Schools in located in Sylvania,OH. A week- long effort with t-shirt sales and student-led themed events that culminated on February 10, 2022 with a girls’ basketball game between the respective schools. We were thrilled to be part of this event as the spirit of giving back and showing compassion for others personifies all that Jack embodied.

2021 Reflections

As we reflect on 2021 and the tragedy that has affected our family, we find ourselves remembering how Jack lived with passion and compassion for others and not the way he died. We established this Foundation as way to carry on Jack’s legacy. In this year alone we have been able to award over $22,000 in Junior golf scholarships to deserving young athletes who wish to further develop their skills in pursuit of advancing their golf game.

Jack was a light to everyone who knew him. His faith in Jesus, his selflessness, respect and perseverance are what set him apart. He was truly one of a kind. We miss Jack every minute of every day. Through his Foundation, we will continue to honor him in a way that would make Jack proud and increase our outreach even more.
