The Jack Elton Snyder Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, provides financial and educational support to benefit Junior Golfers who wish to advance their game of golf while reinforcing the values demonstrated by Jack Elton Snyder: the importance of God and family, integrity, respect, and perseverance.

Board Members

Sean Snyder

Co-Director

Owner of Continental Group for 25 years, we specialize in the manufacturing of showers, barn doors and backlit mirror products for the hotel industry.

I’m Jack’s Dad. It was an Honor to have been able to be part of Jack’s life on earth for his 17-1/2 years. He will be missed dearly, but is now with our Lord and Savior. Jack's legacy will continue through this foundation until we meet again.

Jacci Snyder

Co-Director

After 20 years in the corporate world, I made the decision to become a full time stay at home Mom when we found out we were expecting Jack.

I am Jack’s Mom and I have been blessed that Jesus chose me to be Jack’s Mom. Jesus gave me 17 exhilarating, joyful and happy years with this beautiful soul, and I am confident He will bless me again one day when He reunites me with Jack. Life on earth, be it 17 years, or 70 years is a nanosecond compared to eternity. Until that day comes, I will hold on to His promises, and serve Him. Hebrew 3:6

As Jack’s “Sissy”, I was blessed to watch him grow into a faithful and loving young man over the past 17 years. I am humbled by the opportunity to serve on the board in honor of Jack’s legacy and is dedicated to helping the foundation achieve its mission.

I’m Jacks big brother and best friend. I am blessed to have been able to laugh and spend time with such an amazing kid for 17 years. To see all the good that has come out of bad is no coincidence, God has a plan for everything. I am grateful for all those working hard to spread his legacy through his foundation and honored to be a part of it.

Kyle Morris

Owner and Director of Instruction

at The Golf Room

I met Jack in the summer of 2016 when Jacci and Sean brought their little Jack to the lesson tee at The Golf Room and said “can you help teach our little Jack to play golf?” From that moment forward, Big J and I were best buddies. From Buckeyes games and national championships to watching his middle school team go undefeated, Jack was near and dear to my heart. He went from not being able to get a ball airborne that day to being one the best juniors in the state of Ohio. His radiant smile, energetic attitude, optimistic outlook, and uncompromising work ethic served as light upon a hill at The Golf Room.

While Jack is away from us physically, Jack's aura radiates through The Golf Room daily as he left the world he visited a better place than he found it. Now he is a citizen of Heaven, sitting at the feet of Jesus. If you have met Jack, then you have met a sliver of the ultimate radiant son, Jesus! Miss you J and there truly isn’t a day I don’t think about you pal!

Ryan Flanagan

Midwest Regional Director for the

American Junior Golf Association.

Ryan work's with our local AJGA tournament committees, courses, and sponsors in the Midwest to provide opportunities for golf’s next generation.

I first met Jack at an AJGA event in Boardman, Ohio. I could tell that he was a special individual from the moment that I met him. He was always smiling and making everyone feel appreciated. My favorite memory of Jack was watching him qualify into the Natural Resource Partners Bluegrass Junior. He was so happy to see his hard work pay off and play into the event. I look forward to working with the foundation to bring great opportunities to young men and women in the Midwest!

Alex Martin, PGA

Tour Director - GolfWeek Junior Tour

I had the pleasure of getting to meet Jack for the first time in the Spring of 2017 at one of our events in Lexington, KY. Jack was in our younger division and I have a distinct memory of him because that was back when he had the long, blond, and curly hair! From then on, it was hard to miss Jack as he was always talking to everyone in his group, parents and our staff. I had to answer the question several times "who is that kid?," partly because of the hair, but mostly because of his beaming personality and kids and parents wanted to be around him and get to know him.

My time spent with Jack and his family will always be special to me. Their witness to their faith and caring personality is something to admire and leaves the world a better place. While my family and I will miss Jack, we are comforted by the faith he witnessed while here on Earth.

Rich Ritter

US Kids Local Tour Director 2012-2020

New Albany High School Head Golf Coach 2017-present

Jack played his first junior golf tournament at a summer event I conducted on the US Kids Columbus Local Tour at New Albany Country Club. There were about 120 kids competing that day, but my only specific memory of that tournament was meeting Jack; not because of his score or the way that he played but because of his energy, enthusiasm and vibrant personality.

A few years later when Jack started dating my daughter Anna, he became much more than a boyfriend to her, he also become a brother to my sons and a true member of our family. As a result, over the last couple of years, I had the opportunity to spend quite a bit of time with him and enjoy his infectious spirit. When Jack would come over, we could always count on intense wiffle ball games in our back yard, the loudest ever rock, paper, scissors battles to determine who would clean up after dinner or epic battles on the golf course, rich with lots of trash talk.

Jack impacted our lives in immeasurable ways and his faith is an example that we will strive to live up to always. I’m honored to have the opportunity to further Jack’s legacy through this foundation.
