We would like to thank you all for coming out to the 16th Annual OLHS Scramble in Memory of Jack Snyder in conjunction with the Jack Elton Snyder Foundation. 

We are excited to share with all of you The Jack Elton Snyder Foundation, JES & US. The name, JES & US came from the many messages we received after Jack's celebration of life. Many people sent messages telling us they could not help but notice the "JESUS" behind the altar at Grace Church. The messages also included, your "JES" will be with "US" always. We were overwhelmed and immediately knew this was the Foundation name.

Jack left to be with Jesus almost 5 months ago, our lives have been forever changed. Our faith has been tested in ways I never thought possible, however, Jesus has sustained us, and our faith burns brighter than ever. Jesus is Almighty and Powerful and is using our tragedy for HIS glory. We are seeing daily, how lives are being transformed. We know one day, Jesus will show us how He could do more in HIS Kingdom with Jack in Heaven than He could with Jack living a full life on this earth. I have tears as we're typing this, but I am seeing HIS plan unfold before my very eyes. Sean and I are so very blessed that Jesus chose us to be Jack's parents. We are humbled by the overwhelming amount of love, support, prayers, and messages from people telling us how our sweet beautiful soul impacted so many lives in a powerful and profound way. We wanted to find a way to create meaning out of Jack's passing, and working to develop this Foundation has been a source of healing for Sean, Kirstin, Ian, Chase, and myself. Creating this Foundation is a way for our family to honor Jack's kindness, selfless and unconditional love, and his strong faith in Jesus. Jack was an example of a well-lived life, however very brief. As humans, we often pause, reflect, and wonder how to possess this gift that Jack had. This is what Jack would want you to know. Surrender your heart to Jesus and make Him your Lord and Savior. You will be forever changed if you make the same decision Jack did and then you too will possess this gift that Jack so freely gave to others. I believe HIS promises, Jack is safe living in HIS presence, and our family anxiously awaits the day we are all reunited.
